~ingredients:
- Ribeye or Steak Tips (cut into 1 inch cubes)
- Beef marinade: 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 4-6 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp corn starch, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 white onion (cut into 1 inch chunks)
- bell peppers (various colors, 1 inch chunks)
- 2 green onion (2 inch pieces)
- 1 tomato (sliced)
- oil for cooking
~instructions:
- Mix together the marinade ingredients listed above and marinate the beef for at least 1 hour. (note: beef should be room temp before cooking)
- When ready to cook, add a little more cornstarch and oil to coat the beef cubes.
- Heat your wok on high heat with neutral oil (1 tbsp). Once wok is smoking, add in the beef cubes in a single layer.
- Let the beef sear for a minute, before flipping. Stir-fry until all sides are browned.
- If the beef is almost medium-rare, add in the veggies and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
- Turn off the heat when the beef is cooked to your liking.
- Serve over rice with the sliced tomatoes. Enjoy!
