~ingredients:
- 1 lb pork belly
- marinade:
- 2 tbsp ssamjang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp gochugaru
- 3-4 green onion
- 1 shallot
- 3 cloves garlic
~instructions:
- Cut the pork belly into thin strips
- In a bowl, mix together the above listed marinade ingredients.
- Add the marinade to the pork belly, and massage the marinade into the pork belly.
- Chop the green onion into 2-3 inch pieces, mince 1 shallot and 3 cloves garlic. Set aside.
- Heat up your wok on medium-high heat with 1 tbsp of neutral cooking oil.
- Once the wok starts to smoke, add the minced shallot and garlic, toasting for 30 seconds.
- Add in the pork belly, and spread out into one even layer.
- Sear on one side for 2 minutes, before flipping. Cook another 2 minutes on the other side.
- Once both sides have browned, add in your green onion.
- Stir and continue cooking until the pork is cooked through. Turn off the fire once done.
- Serve with some veggie sides and over rice, enjoy!
